 Step 1. Depending on the ordered configuration you will receive bottom plate with focus drive, or filter wheel, or both. For the filter wheel: remove the thumbwheel with numbers and top cover; install filters in the wheel and secure them with provided screws; put the cover and the thumbwheel back, aligning the thumbwheel position to correspond to the filters. |
 Step 2. Put the microscope on the back (after removing the lamphouses). Unscrew the four screws holding the original bottom plate. |
 Step 3. Remove the original bottom plate and replace it with the provided bottom plate. |
 Step 4. Use the original or provided screws to attach the new bottom plate. |
 Step 5. Attach the filter wheel to the side bracket with provided screws or thumbscrews. |
 Step 6. Unscrew the rubber feet, put provided washers, and screw the feet back in. |
